Yet another joyful occasion with fantastic singing by the Priory Choir. Our Area Dean, Gary Crellin, gave an encouraging and inspiring sermon encapsulating how the Priory has been a special place for so many people over hundreds of years and how it still continues to be so.
The Friends' Choral Evensong 2025
Our new vicar, Roger Latham, gave an inspiring sermon stressing the importance of churches being living stones and how people encountered God both in the building and through encounters with people whose faith continues to bring the building "alive". Another wonderful evening with uplifting beautiful music by the Priory Choir.
The Friends' Choral Evensong 2024
The Friends' Choral Evensong was on Sunday 16th June at 6.30 pm and was another joyous occasion sung by the Priory Choir.
We welcomed the Rev'd Canon Dr. Stephen Edwards, Interim Dean at Worcester Cathedral as our preacher and we congratulated him the following day on his new appointment as Dean of Worcester Cathedral.
The Friends' Choral Evensong 2023
This joyful service was an opportunity to celebrate the conservation and protection of the first of the Priory's precious medieval stained glass windows and to thank all those who contribute in so many ways to the upkeep of the Priory building and the Christian ministry that continues within its walls to this day.
