The Friends' Outing

The Friends' Outing in 2026 will be to visit Leicester Cathedral and the Richard III Visitors' Centre and Heritage Museum. The outing takes place on Thursday 7th May. Details to follow.

The Friends' Outing in 2025 was on Thursday 15th May and went to Coventry Cathedral and Avoncroft Museum of Buildings.

The Friends' Outing in 2024 was to Gloucester on Tuesday 7th May.

It included a Highlights Guided Tour of Gloucester Cathedral followed by lunch and a visit to Nature in Art at Twigworth. It was another informative and very enjoyable day out.

The Friends' Annual Trips 2022 & 2023

On Thursday 29th September a group of 30 of us went to Ludlow for the day, visiting St. Laurence's church in the morning and Stokesay Castle, the finest and best preserved fortified medieval manor house in England in the afternoon. It was a very interesting and enjoyable day out. Many thanks to Jane Hill for organising it all so beautifully. The trip in 2023 was to Wells Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace Gardens - another great day out!
